As many of you know, The Bad Things recorded a new album last year. We’re still working on the physical release but good news for all our fans that have been patiently waiting: on July 3rd, the first single “Glamorous Gutter” will be released on vinyl as part of the “Cascadia Underground Folk Compendium” alongside some of the best folk punk bands the PNW has to offer: Porch Cat, The Moray, Nil Desperandum, Those Damn Animals, The Phantom Pines, Somehow We’re Fine, Crooked Notes, The Cockaphonix and more.
The release party will take place at Conor Byrne Pub in Ballard on Friday, July 3rd and most of the bands on the compilation will be doing short sets, including their songs that are included on the album. Tickets are on sale here now so get yours before they’re gone. The records will be on sale at the show but quantities are extremely limited, so show up if you want to secure a copy.
“Glamorous Gutter” will also be officially released as the first single from our forthcoming album “Endless Roads and Pointless Towns” on July 17 on all streaming platforms and for sale on our Bandcamp page. We will also be releasing a video for the song on that same day.
Our first new release in over 12 years! We can’t wait for you all to hear it.
